The Student Dashboard is your central command center on E-Tutors City. From here, you can track your progress, manage your scheduled classes, and access your purchased learning materials.
9.1. Accessing the Dashboard
Once you log in, you are automatically redirected to your dashboard. You can also return here at any time by clicking the Dashboard link in the side navigation menu.
9.2. Dashboard Header Navigation
The top header provides quick access to essential account tools and communication features.
9.2.1. Header Navigation Icons
- Home Icon: Instantly return to the main dashboard view from any sub-page.
- Mail Icon: Access the internal messaging system to communicate with your tutors.
- Notification Bell: Stay updated with real-time alerts. A numbered badge (e.g., 2) indicates new updates regarding class schedules or payment confirmations.
- Shopping Cart: Review pending bookings or tutorials added to your cart before final checkout.
- Language Selector: Switch the platform interface between supported languages like English and Amharic.
- Logout: Securely exit your session to protect your account data.
9.2.2. User Profile Summary
Located at the top of the main dashboard area, this section displays your active status.
- Welcome Message: Displays your registered full name.
- Account Type: Confirms your role as a student on the platform.
- View Profile Button: Direct access to edit your bio, profile picture, and security settings.

The dashboard is organized into quick-access cards to help you find what you need instantly:

Update your personal information, change your profile picture, and manage your account security. Keeping your profile updated helps tutors know more about your learning needs.
9.3.2. 👥 Browse Group Class Categories
Shortcut to the live group sessions catalog. Use this to quickly jump back into finding new classes based on your grade or subject.
9.3.3. 📚 My Purchased Courses
Access all the Tutorials and pre-recorded lectures you have bought. You can start, pause, or resume your video lessons from this section.
9.3.4. 📅 Appointments
View your schedule for 1-on-1 sessions and upcoming live classes. This section helps you stay organized so you never miss a lesson.
9.4. Financial & History Management
Located at the bottom of the dashboard, these tools help you track your spending and requests:
- My Transactions: A full list of all your payments, including status updates (Booked, Pending, or Canceled).
- Refund Request: If a class was canceled or you encountered a technical issue, you can submit and track your refund requests here.
