7. Tutorials

If you prefer learning at your own speed rather than joining a live session, e-Tutors City Tutorials are the perfect solution. These are expert-led, pre-recorded lectures that you can access anytime, anywhere.

7.1. Accessing the Tutorials Library​

Click on Tutorials in the top navigation menu to enter the video library.

7.1.1. Browsing & Filtering​

Because our library covers a wide range of subjects, use the filter tools to find exactly what you need for your studies:

  • Grades: Select your specific level (e.g., Grade 9, Grade 12).
  • Subjects: Choose from topics like Biology, English, or Information Technology.
  • Units: Find pre-recorded lectures for specific curriculum units (e.g., "Unit 4 - Reproduction").
  • Search: Use the search bar to find a specific tutor or topic.

7.1.2. Selecting a Tutorial​

Each tutorial card shows you important data before you buy:

  • Tutor Name & Rating: See who led the lecture and how other students rated it.
  • Total Learners: See how many other students have taken this specific tutorial.
  • Subject/Unit Title: Located directly under the learner count.
  • Price: View the cost in ETB at the bottom right of the card.

7.1.3. How to Purchase a Tutorial​

  1. Click Buy Now: Once you find a tutorial you need, click the green Buy Now button on the card.
  2. Review Course Details: You will be taken to the course page where you can see the full description of the pre-recorded content.
  3. Payment: Follow the standard payment process (Stripe, Chapa, or Telebirr) as detailed in our [Booking & Payment Guide].

7.1.4. Accessing Your Purchased Content​

Unlike live classes, tutorials do not have a scheduled time. Once purchased:

  1. Go to your Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to My Courses.
  3. Click on the tutorial to start streaming the video lectures immediately.

Note: Tutorials are pre-recorded. If you have specific questions for the tutor after watching, we recommend booking a 1-on-1 Class with that same tutor for personalized support.
